Analysing how Tarot Readings work
At last, a section devoted to seeing how tarot readings work. The 10 Card reading and the 12 Card reading are from a student in Pakistan who was completely new to Tarot. She was using the readings to understand how elemental dignities work. All I have done is tidy up the emails she sent me.
The next ten pages are devoted to an increasingly detailed analysis of the Opening of the Key Spread.
The pages in this section are devoted to understanding the elements, the card counting techniques in a holistic manner. The brain is such a powerful parallel processor that we are unaware of it in our lives. Central to most of the pages here is the use of tables which delineate the abstractions that are taking place. To help you understand the underlying nature of what is going on, the tables are interactive - click on the headers and you can re-order the columns to show more clearly what is going. For example, you can group the cards by the elements, or their elemental strength, or by their nature, such as active, or passive. The columns composed of numbers to the right demonstrate the counting technique, and you can see how some cards always seem to be counted, while others completely miss the count.
Some of the readings were worked out between myself and students while online, so you can see some of the working out.
Finally, there are several pages devoted to the card sequences used in my book, Tarot and the Magus.
