Paul spent over twenty years learning Sufi techniques from a Silent Sufi, Punditt Maharaj in Brighton. Early in the training Paul was required to learn divination, so he became a palmist on Brighton Beach. Palmistry is a difficult skill to learn, so early on tarot was incorporated into the readings. At first, Paul knew nothing about tarot, but when clients require a reading, there are great incentives to learn. As a result of this practical training of the tarot, a different perspective on how tarot works evolved. The approach was more about the relationships between the cards, and less about the divinatory meanings. Eventually, answers were found in the Golden Dawn system of the Opening of the Key Spread and the system of Elemental Dignities. After a fruitless search on the internet for information on the OOTK spread and Elemental Dignities, Paul realised that he should create his own site on the subject, and supertarot.co.uk was born, and it remains the number one site for learning new techniques on the tarot. The magical and esoteric implications of the Tarot, particularly Crowley’s Thoth Tarot make Paul the world’s expert on Aleister Crowley’s Thoth Tarot.
Paul’s studies with Punditt Maharaj were entirely spiritually and experientially based, as Punditt would rarely discuss anything. Some of those experiences are found on the blog. Thus, the tarot became an integral part of his spiritual training. One of the supreme powers of Punditt was to induce visions and experiences of all magical and spiritual systems. These visions and experiences sent Paul on a transdimensional search to understand what was going on. The Golden Dawn, Voodoo, magick, Enochian, and so many other systems were studied to find answers. In the end, the answer was discovered – there is no system. The key is the spiritual experience, which results in the spiritual powers. Punditt’s silence on almost anything spiritual creates an incredible desire for answers, and inculcates the need for independence of thoughts, and ideas. The result is incredibly empowering.
As part of the training, Paul met the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the greatest exponent of qawali, the Sufi music of Pakistan. Paul also visited the shrine of Data Sahib in Lahore, Pakistan, and he was secretly initiated into the Silent Sufi Order while in that country.
Since Punditt Maharaj went into Silence several years ago, it became clear that even though Paul was trained by a Silent Sufi, he is the only westerner privy to ancient secrets not found in books, and he needs to bring this knowledge to the world. Paul is building a small group of westerners who are learning the ancient techniques of the Silent Sufis.
Outreach
As Punditt began to retire from this world, and spend more time in the spiritual realms, Paul realised he had to bring the message to the world. Tarot was the obvious starting place. He first spoke to an audience in Brighton in 2002, and later that year spoke at the Occulture Festival in Brighton on the Tarot. He has since spoken on the tarot, Elemental Dignities and the Opening of the Key Spread at conferences in Toronto, Birmingham, and London. His first book, Tarot and the Magus was published in 2004. This groundbreaking book demonstrates the incredible spiritual power of the Tarot when it is divorced from the Tree of Life, so that the spiritual and magical restrictions are removed.
Paul has teamed up with the founder and promoter of Occulture, Jon Tapsell to start a new cycle of talks and events that will promote the talents of masters and artists of the esoteric world.
After keeping silent for over twenty years, Paul began to discuss his spiritual experiences on the blog, and as a result, he realised just how profoundly Punditt had trained him. In 2005, he took on his Master’s name to fully realise and acknowledge the incredible spiritual transformations that had taken place. He discovered that dhikr is practiced regularly in Brighton, which has accelerated progress spiritually. Dhikr is held under the auspices of the Naqshbandi Sufis.
Paul is able to offer spiritual knowledge and healing, and help with all kinds of spiritual problems. Based upon the student’s knowledge, there are opportunities for learning the spiritual teachings of the Silent Sufis, as Paul is the only westerner to have ever been trained in these techniques. Paul’s talents and expertise as a clairvoyant and healer bring new levels to the divination techniques of tarot and palmistry.

Paul spoke at the Occulture Festival in Brighton on M Theory, which
physicists are using to unify the four forces in nature, and understand
the origins of the universe. Remarkably, the Star card in the Book
of Thoth predicts such a system appearing, based upon Riemannian geometry,
which is also the basis of Projective Synthetic Geometry.
