Two - Dominion

The Wands Minor Arcana relate to Fire, Will, and action. The Spiritual level of Atziluth in Chokmah, and the Father or Knights.

  • Ace of Wands.  Beginning  an action. The sprouting of a seed, or germ of an idea. The nature of the action depends on cards around the Ace of Wands
  • Two – Dominion The power or right of governing and controlling, where there is a single rulership, over a significant territory.
  • Three – Virtue Three of Wands shows movement of the active impulse into a more creative phase. Exploring the possibilities. Increasing the chances of the action succeeding. Creating a supporting environment for the action, such as a new business.
  • Four – Completion Building up and establishing one’s actions. Fulfilment of conclusion. There is no antonym.
  • Five – Strife Rivalry, conflict, discord or antagonism. Archaically, strife means a strenuous effort. Growing pains. The action has increased to the point that it is noticed, and not necessarily appreciated by others.
  • Six – Victory  Triumph over an enemy, or a superior position over an opponent. This suggests the nature of the Higher Self or Holy Guardian Angel.
  • Seven – Valour Bravery in the face of great danger. The antonym for valour is cowardice.
  • Eight – Swiftness Moving with great speed, prompt action, quick thinking. To be smart or clever.
  • Nine – Strength The state of being strong and healthy. A capable corps, ability to resist, ability to keep up the state.
  • Ten – Oppression Cruel or unjust exercise of power or authority. A heavy burden.
  • Knight An older active man, impetuous.
  • Queen An older, very active woman.
  • Prince The Great Beast himself, Aleister Crowley. In the Charioteer’s hand is the Phoenix Wand of the Adeptus Minor Ritual.
  • Princess The Princess of Wands is a younger passionate and active woman.
