Mother in the Court Cards
Mother refers to the second letter of YHVH and Water. The Queens in the Court cards relate to Mother. Unlike the other court cards, which have different terms, it is always the Queen.
Dark woman, countrywoman, friendly, chaste, loving, honourable. If the card beside her signifies a man, she is well disposed towards him; if a woman, she is interested in the Querent. Also, love of money, or a certain success in business.
She is imaginative, poetic, kind, yet not willing to take much trouble for another. Coquettish, good-natured, underneath a dreamy appearance. Imagination stronger than feeling. Very much affected by other influences, and therefore more dependent on good or ill-dignity than upon most other symbols.
Good, fair woman; honest, devoted, who will do service to the Querent; loving intelligence, and hence the gift of vision; success, happiness, pleasure; also wisdom, virtue; a perfect spouse and a good mother.
Intensely perceptive, keen observation, subtle, quick, confident, often perseveringly accurate in superficial things, graceful, fond of dancing and balancing. Ill-dignified, cruel, sly, deceitful, unreliable, though with a good exterior.
Widowhood, female sadness and embarrassment, absence, sterility, mourning, privation, separation.
She is impetuous, kind, timid, rather charming, greathearted, intelligent, melancholy, truthful, yet of many moods.
Opulence, generosity, magnificence, security, liberty.
Perceptive, subtle interpreter
